Okan Uckun is known as one of the pioneers of "Minimal tattoo and fine line tattoo". He runs his own unique art project, INM Studio. After completing his education in architecture and a master's degree in modern art, he fully dedicated himself to tattooing in 2009. He has performed his tattoo art in over 50 countries so far. In 2017, he moved from Istanbul to New York City, and now continues his life and career in the USA, specifically in NYC.

 

Okan Uckun's artistic endeavors are deeply influenced by minimalism, geometry, and architecture. His journey began in Istanbul, Turkey, and later transitioned to the vibrant streets of New York City, where he honed his craft at Bang Bang Tattoo for about six years before branching out to pursue his own projects. Renowned for setting a new artistic standard with his meticulous minimalist, line work, and fine line designs, Okan has gained international acclaim for his unique creations.

Describing the human body as a walking gallery, Okan thrives on creating art that travels the world and becomes an integral part of life. Beyond his tattoo work, Okan Uckun has contributed to various brands and projects, including jewelry collections, fashion brands, snowboard projects, and has even served as a creative director for numerous renowned music artists. By weaving his minimalist style into these collaborations, Okan continues to be a leading source of inspiration, showcasing the transformative power of his artistic vision.
